We know a whole lot of our transfer applicants are anxiously waiting for decisions and lots of have the exact same questions! We hear you and hope this FAQ shall assist as you wait to hear from us.
When will we find my decision out?
All transfer pupils who placed on USC for fall 2015 admission will be notified of either a choice, or a request for extra information by June 1. We are in the means of making decisions, so some students have heard back from us while many have not. Just because you have not heard from our office yet does not mean its good or bad news there are nevertheless 2-3 weeks until June 1 and we are making our way through all the applications.
What does a Spring Grade Request mean?
For some students, we aren’t able to make a choice with all the information we have. We may request to see your final spring grades to assist us in building a decision. If you received a spring grade request, please deliver us your grades as soon because they are available. Different schools finish at differing times, so that the faster you are able to send us your grades, the faster we can get an admission choice back.
We’re aware that numerous semester system schools finish in May and quarter that is many in June. Our admission counselors are alert to this timeline, and we’ll be accommodating to each individual college, but again, do not delay in delivering us your grades if we asked for them.
If I’m admitted, whenever am I going to find out which of my classes transfer to USC?
Students whom are admitted and enroll at USC will receive a Transfer Credit Report (TCR) that details classes that will transfer and which requirements are being met. These reports are available three shmoop.pro to six weeks after a student submits their commitment deposit, and we receive complete and official transcripts of all college work, and exam that is official. Pupils will get a message notification when the TCR is available to see at my.usc.edu.
Think about Financial Aid?
If you came across all deadlines and eligibility requirements and promptly presented any additional papers the educational funding workplace requested, you certainly will be notified of your financial aid within 7 business days after you have been admitted to USC. You can monitor your award status online at My school funding & Documents (https://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/my_fa/index.html).
While all students requested the Fall 2015 semester, some students can be admitted to your Spring 2016 semester. This allows us to accommodate more students. We encourage pupils to continue taking courses either at their current organization or another college. If you are admitted to the Spring semester and now have questions in what to do within the fall, you can contact your admission counselor for more info.
